Welcome.. to the world's most loneliest blog. After I've done nothing but left this blog for dust bunnies to habitat for almost entire year (even allowed them to rent out if they have enough money. Have to say the business here is blooming), I think I may have found a usage of this blog again.. as some kind of crappy dev log that would probably get buried within a month.

Anyway. There's a thing I wanted to clarify here before I go on my way to blah blah blah.. I had removed some old articles out (Adobe Shockwave and Unity Web Player). Why? Well.. They are not pretty to look or read that and because of my old habit (removing old stuffs that no longer serves any purposes).

Also. I think BlueMaxima's Flashpoint Team had done such a great job of archiving Internet interactive medias and document them. If you really missed old browser games, then check it out!

Me, And Friday Night Funkin' Modding

.. I have accepted my silent retirement. And the fact that I won't be able to do anything fun anymore due to my tight schedule. But since I have some times to talk about it. Might as well talk about it.

I have had been in this community since the creation of Whitty. I have witnessed the boom of FNF mods, the creation of KadeEngine, and of course, the birth of FNF modding community as a whole. Even though I'm a quiet guy and don't interact with people that much (for good reasons), I had a great ride in FNF modding. 

All About FNF Community

To be honest. I don't want to act like a sour grape and bitch about FNF community. We all know that this community is something. A part of me tells me a lot of people in this community are a bunch of talented maniacs, and another part tells me a lot of people in this community are a bunch of drama monkeys in a barrel that hold together with toxic gorilla glue and 'no parents figure' posters stamped on over it.

But in the middle of this madness, I still have hope for the FNF modding. And maybe some days, we will see them back in its glory once again.

Quitting The Addiction

Ok.. this one is on me.

Thanks to my perfectionism. Most of my creations were polished until 'perfect' (debatable). Which of course, taking more times to polish until it's mediocre at best (still debatable). God. It was an exhausting job to do everything by myself, since my socialize skills were nonexistence.

It's not helping either that I'm a certified night owl who doesn't need caffeine substance to stay awake, I usually get carried away in doing mod until 3 am. It's also somehow increase my stress due to low resting and solo development.

So to stop myself from being a burned out disappointment. I took the mod down.

Anyway.. Since me and FNF modding has broken up, and you took some times to read all of what I have typed. I might as well show unpublished 'concepts' (debatable) of my mod called 'Fine Night Funkout'. And how it would turn out if.. yeah, just gonna leave a ____ here for you to fill.

Keep in mind that some drawings and ideas were lost due to 'accidental' deletion. I had a lot more than this.

Fine Night Funkout (TCRF Edition)

Beyond VS Doodlebob Week

'VS Doodlebob' was a fourth and 'last' update for Fine Night Funkout. But before that.. happened. I have came up with quite ideas about new weeks. However, most of them were lost due to accidental deletion, what a pity. There were a lot of them. Seriously. It were like a line of trauma conga.

However. A few of them survived (somehow). So I guess you can have them.

Ribombee (Ribbon?) and Lima-Pleurodon from PVZ Heroes with Minus Design too?

Fun fact: There was an image of Minus design for all of these characters. Too bad I deleted it and now we have.. nothing.

I told you. I have a bad habit of deleting things if I don't like it instantly without thinking forward.

'Alternate Night Funkout'

'Alternate Night Funkout' was a codename for my scrapped mod for dealing with Fine Night Funkout copyright issues (by turning them into knock-off ocd); with new soundtracks, new sprites, use PsychEngine .etc .etc. This concept was started around October, and scrapped when I got sick of FNF modding within a week.. bruh.

What was it going to be about? Well.. it's like Fine Night Funkout, 'cept from an alternate universe. Where everything seems to be.. well, not the same as yours.

Concept characters art, anyone?

The First Week of Fine-NF gang is all here. With exception of Robbie, because I couldn't chug out a decent design. And it's pain for me to say this. This is the only piece I had come up with.. befor- okay, you know the drills by now.

I also made the notes for these characters in a text file. Here's what I can summarize from it.

Week 1: Featured Flashpoint Archive

- VS Pally, Alpine and Elisa & Bethy

Kinda not true since Nitrome games weren't archived due to copyright issues.

Week 2: Machoshaft Leenus Protocol Handler

- VS Bindy

'Bindy' is an alternate counterpart to 'Clippy'. He was supposed to be a binder clip instead of paper clip.

He was literally an opposite of Clippy. He handles with Internet links, people finds him useful, and was a workaholic. Poor fella needs a good break.

His week also supposed to had a mechanic involving around pop-ups covering the screen and you have to get rid of them by clicking.

Week 3: No Reference Needed

- VS Brushbob

'Brushbob' is an alternate counterpart to 'Doodlebob'. As the name suggests, he uses giant paint brush instead of 2b pencil. 

From the notes, he could talk normally, whatever he painted came to life but dissolve when contact with liquids, and 'hate digital art with passion'.

His week also supposed to had a mechanic involving around fake notes. Pressing them damages you and obscure your notes for a short period of time.

Week 4: "New Week?"

- VS ???

The note didn't say anything about.. this. My guess is this were supposed to be a slot for a new opponent. Argh. Sometimes I hate myself for not writing things intact.

Week 5: Virtual Pet Simulator V.1.1b

- VS 'That Old Virtual Cat Pet Game'

... Ok FaultyTwo. You ARE clearly the worst when it comes to taking notes.

However. I might have an idea where I got this from. Basically this character was supposed to based of an old shareware game called 'P.C. Whiskers'. Also the note said that third song, it would turned into a virus (probably based of a computer virus). 

Maybe I had the idea about 'Alternate Night Funkout' was a simulation? Or a digital landscape for all medias that no one cares anymore? Interesting to say at least. Still, no Lune tho. lmao.

Anddd.. that's all I could find about Fine-NF.. Just imagine if all images are still here intact.

Common Questions, Common Answers

"Will you bring Fine-NF back for download?"

I think KBHGames already had that cover. I mean, after all, their job is stealing porting mods to be playable on web browser platforms.

"Will you ever get back to FNF Modding?"

Honest speaking.. An obscure amount of 1 yocto percent to come back. I would rather spend my time doing something beneficial to myself, rather than doing whatever I was doing and feeling like crap.

"Are there any mods you still looking up to?"

D-Side and Minus. That's all I care about.

D-Side is.. well, D-Side. It twists most of the overused concept by stamping 'radical' keywords on every characters really well and nicely done.

Minus is.. well, Minus! ... when the hell are they going to release the update anyway.

"So.. What now?"

I might just step back into the shadow for a big while. And focusing on my full-time career path. And also, I would probably resurrect this blog as my personal dev log for craps.

.. And find some ways to make money without burning my life thru horrible part-time customer service jobs. I mean, customers aren't usually bad. But the pays aren't worth the weight. I mean, you can't even buy a piece of pork with that amount of minimum wage for crying out loud!
